Best candidates for Microshade, or Combo are people from normal to oily skin, clients who need to cover an old tattoo or people with not much hair on their eyebrows or no hair at all. What is Microshading?

● NOTE: If you already have an old Tattoo on bottom there are ways to work on it. If is already faded we can work the design on top of it, but if the color is very strong or noticeable I will have to neutralize the color on the first session, then work on the design in the second session, to finish on a third session.

Do not do Botox or fillers after the procedure because it can change the shape of your eyebrows, if you most have Botox or fillers get them done and wait at least a month to do your eyebrows.

In other words, microshading brows is used in areas where hairs are scarce. It can be mixed with gray and natural hairs, as well as combined with microblading, to create a truly innovative natural look.

What is the procedure?

Although the microshade is based on a standard procedure, each specialist is free to apply the method that best suits him or her. Always to achieve the best possible results.

In MUSSA we work in the following way:
● Before starting the treatment, we’ll discuss the design to be done considering your preferences, and the appropriate color for your hair and skin tone.
● If you don't have eyebrow hair, don't worry, it's not a problem. To achieve the best possible results, we will study your face shape and eyebrow style accordingly.
● At this point, it is important to understand that there is no such thing as an identical set of eyebrows. Therefore, it is critical to measure and follow the client's bone structure to achieve a natural, yet striking brow.

● Once you approve the design and choose the color, we will proceed with the procedure at hand.
● Upon completion, you must follow the specialist's recommendations. After 8 weeks, you should return for a touch-up. The touch-up is done to add additional strokes where necessary. This allows the effect to be perfected.
● We will recommend returning for a second touch-up after 12 months or more depending on you skin pigment retention. This is done to get a second coat of color. Since 80% of clients lose color at the first appointment.

FAQ

Does microshading hurt?

Although the pain threshold is different for each person, in Mussa a strong numbing cream is applied to every client to make the experience comfortable, must clients describe pain as a level 3, from 1 to 10 or, is not painful. The permanent make up artist will abide by all precautions, of course. The idea is to provide a safe, comfortable and optimal service that meets or exceeds expectations.

The same applies to people who take anticoagulant or allergic medications, or even have a history of keloids. If this is your case, it is best to avoid microblading microshading treatment or, in any case, consult your doctor before making any final decision.

After your second touch up clients normally come back in 18 months-2 years to maintain a fresh color and natural appearance. A lot of sun, Tanning beds are the worst, natural elements, or oily skin, can accelerate the loss of color in your eyebrows, just protect the area for a longer fresh look.
