Microshading as an alternative to microblading has become one of the best semi-permanent makeup treatments, achieving high-quality results with easy care and maintenance.
As a specialized beauty salon, Mussa Beauty Studio offers a VIP experience also dedicated to eyebrow microshading. We work on the personal preferences of each client to achieve the desired look.
Want to know more about microshading before and after? Here we tell you all about it.
What Happens During the Microshading Healing Process?
As a first good step, it is important to have a microshading specialist. This specialist must also have professional equipment in a clean and conditioned area, ideal for the correct application of the treatment.
This is what happens during the treatment:
- We talk about the design to be done, taking into account your preferences and physical characteristics.
- We analyze your face shape and eyebrow style.
- We measure and follow your bone structure to achieve natural eyebrows with style.
- Once the design and color are approved, we proceed with the treatment.
- The technique is very similar to microblading. But, in microshading, we get a slightly denser shading effect. It is not painful and takes approximately 2 hours.
- It is important to follow the recommendations of the specialist once the treatment is finished.
After properly caring for the treated area, consider the following:
- After 8 weeks a touch-up is recommended. The touch-up is performed to perfect the eyebrow design once the healing process is complete.
- 12 months later, a second retouch is important. This is to obtain a second layer of color, as it is common to lose 80% of the shade after months of treatment.
Our goal:
- Enhance the power of your look while respecting your facial features and making the most of your natural eyebrow.
What Can I Expect During the Healing Process?
You can expect painless and minimally invasive treatment under specialized professional assistance. In this sense, we work for your comfort and safety.
- We follow the standards of hygiene and asepsis applied to semi-permanent tattooing.
- We offer an adequate and conditioned space for your comfort.
- With the latest technology to achieve the success of the treatment in the estimated time.
What Are the Microshading Healing Stages?
This treatment also requires post-treatment care. However, the well-known microshading healing process, even though it requires specific care, is not a complicated and laborious process for the client. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the corresponding steps:
- After treatment: It is normal to notice skin tightness and (although not in all cases) swelling or redness in the treated area. The color at the time of the procedure will be intense due to pigment oxidation. But, over the days the healing process will progress and the intensity of the color will begin to diminish.
- After 24 h: You will begin to notice changes, such as increased color and the beginning of crusting (although this may occur in some cases). These processes are completely normal and should not be interrupted. It is therefore recommended not to touch the area and dry healing.
- 5 to 8 days: You will notice that the color has dropped, which is perfectly normal. The pigment will not stabilize until 30 - 40 days. Hence the importance of the first touch-up.
- Day 15 to 25: Fading or loss of pigment may occur, although pigment may reappear a few weeks later. Loss of pigment is not a cause for concern, as it is part of the process and also depends on skin type. In any case, the eyebrow design will be perfected at the touch-up session.
- From day 30 to 40: You should go for your first touch-up to perfect, seal and finalize the process. It is important to complete at least 8 weeks of healing before the first touch-up session to avoid damaging the skin and ensure the durability of the treatment.
- Finishing: After the first successful touch-up you will be able to show off clean and voluminous eyebrows for a long time, as microshading can last up to almost two years if the client respects the post-treatment care and attends the touch-up sessions properly.
To meet the estimated duration, it is recommended to have a second touch-up session after 12 months of treatment.
Aftercare for the best results
The professional quality combined with the client's care allows the client to show off eyebrows with impact in the best shading style. You will be able to wear a remarkable design not as aggressive as an ombre, but different from microblading.
Undoubtedly, it is the best option if you are not a candidate for microblading or if you suffer from alopecia.
Day 7-10: Where did my pigment go?
As we have already mentioned, the loss of pigment after 7 - 10 days of treatment is perfectly normal. Well, this happens because from the first week begins the healing process of the skin. Which must be respected to avoid infections and total loss of the design.
Just follow the post-treatment recommendations and everything will be fine. And remember: at Mussa Beauty Studio we are committed to your health, but we need your support and commitment once the healing process begins.
We trust you, and you can trust us. Contact us for a VIP experience at Mussa and end up looking stunning.
